HYBRID IN-PERSON LEARNING TO BEGIN OCTOBER 12, 2020

Great News! Following the Arizona Department of Health Services Health Benchmarks using Governing Board approved data sets, Liberty Elementary School District has met the benchmark of Moderate to begin phasing back to In-Person Learning on October 12th. The Governing Board met on September 24th to approve the expansion of hybrid delivery to include preschool-8th grades. We will begin welcoming students back to school in hybrid AM/PM sessions after fall break. Students assigned to Distance Learning will continue virtual delivery.

A Path to Return to In-Person Learning

At the Governing Board meeting on August 18th, the Board approved the following health benchmarks established by the Arizona Department of Health Services. All three benchmarks must be met to trigger a change in the delivery model from Substantial to Moderate or Moderate to Minimal. Currently, the COVID spread in the community is at a Moderate threshold according to the data sets the Governing Board approved for evaluating our district’s safety.
