Bryn advanced to the Region 5 Spelling Bee and placed in the top 10! Trumaine Thompson, a 5th-grade student from Freedom Elementary, was the district runner-up. We are so proud of all of our spellers and want to congratulate both Bryn and Trumaine. We are proud to have such amazing students represent our district.

In-Person Learning Classes
to Resume In-Person on February 16th
At the January 25th Governing Board meeting, the Governing Board voted to approve a return to in-person learning starting on Tuesday, February 16th. The return plan was influenced by information shared by Maricopa County Public Health about multiple data points and factors in addition to health benchmark guidelines that should be used to make decisions about in-person learning. Additionally, information was shared about the timeline for vaccine implementation to staff and availability of additional vaccines through a Point of Distribution at Buckeye Union High School District prioritized for school district employees. We are thrilled to welcome our children back to school. Mitigation strategies will continue to be used to maintain safety for children. Parents who are interested in a change in class assignment for distance or in-person learning should contact the front office. Changes will be made as class size space allows.
